What this site collects
Nothing directly. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter and no analytics script. The only thing the site stores in your browser is your light-or-dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage so the page doesn't flash on reload. It never leaves your device.
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like any web host, Azure may keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for operating and securing the service. The site owner does not analyse those logs or build profiles from them.
The advisor
If you use the Ask page, the text you type is sent to this site's server and from there to Anthropic's API to generate the answer, along with the site's own guides as context. Nothing else is sent: no account, no cookie, no identifier beyond the network address the request arrives from, which the server uses only to rate-limit abuse and does not store. The conversation lives in your browser tab and is gone when you close it. Anthropic's handling of API inputs is described in its privacy policy.
Affiliate links and cookies
Your Computer is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The site is also an affiliate of Xotic PC. Links to Xotic PC carry a referral code.
When you click a product link, you leave this site. Amazon and Xotic PC may then set cookies or use other identifiers in your browser to record that you arrived from here, so that a purchase within their attribution window can be credited to this site. This site does not see who you are, what you looked at or what you bought; it receives aggregate commission reports only. Those third parties' own privacy policies govern what they collect: Amazon Privacy Notice and Xotic PC privacy policy.
The price you pay is the same whether you use these links or not.

Guides link to manufacturers, software projects and news sources for reference. Those links are not affiliate links and are marked no differently from any other reference. Each site's own policy applies once you're there.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
